NineForm Nutrition was founded by Nishant Varma, an entrepreneur with a background in women's health medical devices.
The idea started at home. Nishant's wife experienced Hyperemesis Gravidarum - a severe form of pregnancy sickness, in all three of her pregnancies. There's no cure for the condition itself but she often wished for something that might have made her life a little easier at the time: an easy-to-consume supplement that could help ease symptoms and stay tolerable during the worst of the nausea. On her hardest days, even swallowing a prenatal vitamin was a struggle.
Hyperemesis is rare - but morning sickness, dehydration, and digestive discomfort touch a huge number of pregnancies, and most products on the market simply aren't designed with those days in mind.
That gap is what led Nishant to start NineForm Nutrition: a company built to develop products for the parts of pregnancy that don't get talked about enough.
The first of these, launching this year, is a daily cold-water pregnancy nutrition sachet - formulated to support nutritional continuity on the days when standard supplements are difficult to face, and to provide fibre, hydration, and complementary micronutrients throughout pregnancy and beyond - including fibre for gut health and constipation, and an electrolyte base for hydration.
